Rangoli Art:
This is an amazing Indian artistic tradition, and Kids will have the chance to help each other create a floor art project made with flower petals, designed in the shape of the KidZania flag!
Rakhi:
Just like siblings do in India, Kids will create their own original and customized friendship bracelets to exchange as gifts with each other.
Tabla Drums:
Pandit Lalit Kumat Dixit, professional tabla instructor from the Embassy of India, will teach Kids how to play these traditional Indian drums..
(Parents may also participate.)
Bollywood Dance:
Kids will learn a basic dance routine taught by a professional Bollywood dancer, Saru Jindal from Imagine India, and then perform it on stage.
Yoga Meditation:
Professional yoga instructor, Dr. Jeevan Lata Shukla from the Embassy of India, will teach basic yoga techniques.
(Parents may also participate)
Hindi Language Games:
A native Hindi speaker, Parul Dhariwal from Imagine India, will teach some Hindi words on stage, and the audience can participate in interactive games.
(Parents may also participate)
Photo Opportunity:
Get your photo taken in front of a famous Indian landmark by a professional photographer! All photos will be put in a paper KidZania frame, and can be bought as souvenirs.
(Parents may also participate.)
Souvenirs:
Kids that participate in some special Indian activities will receive a special Indian souvenir!
